We will be ditching the climbing shoes for a day and picking up snow shoes. If there is snow in the Lassen National Park area, bring your snow shoes, if not, we will be hiking anyways! This is an intermediate hike. Snow shoe or snow hiking experience is preferred.

What? >> Hike / Snow Shoeing  

Where? >> Broke-off Mountain, Lassen National Park

Cost? >> $10 for park entrance/vehicle (unless you have a pass). 

What to Bring? >> Warm clothes (shell + insulation), waterproof/insulated shoes, gloves, beanie, socks, sunglasses, snacks, plenty of water and snow shoes (weather dependent). Cell phone, headlamp, trekking poles and access to a personal first aid kit.

Who? >> Isaia will be leading this trip. Be prepared! This time of year can mean unpredictable weather. Coming prepared will create an overall better experience on the mountain. Stoked to see you there!

Snow Shoe Rentals >> Sports Ltd rent shoe shoes and trekking poles. We suggest that you rent both of them. It will make hiking in the snow much easier and more enjoyable.
