This 1.5 hour session will show you what it means to climb outside. We'll set up a top-rope anchor indoors and have you experience what it's like to climb on a rope and how to belay your climbing partner. You'll get a list of what to buy, the pros and cons of different types of gear, and how to check and retire your gear. We'll take a look at the top climbing spots in Northern California and show you the apps and tools most climbers use to to find local climbing spots, route grades etc.

This class will inspire you to join us for our full-day outdoor climbing clinic and provide you with the tools needed to safely transition outdoors. Rock on!

Shoe rental and day pass included in cost of the class.
